International Association for Political Science Students (IAPSS) is a platform for political science students and students interested in political science issues. The Association is international, politically independent, non-profit and student-run, and aims to have global impact in the political science sphere.

In its twelve years of existence, IAPSS embraced over 75 association members, approximately 10.000 individuals, from more than fifty countries spread all over the world. It evolved from a loose network to an Association with a permanent secretariat in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where the IAPSS Executive Committee is working on a daily basis to initiate and coordinate projects and activities on the local, regional and international levels.

Through such projects, IAPSS is striving to give its members a sense of responsibility concerning their role in creating an improved political and social environment, as well as the skills and knowledge necessary to act in this direction. It does so by organizing seminars, conferences, round tables and debates; by regularly creating and distributing academic and opinion publications (Politikon- The IAPSS Journal of Political Science or the monthly IAPSS magazine, A Different View); by providing and promoting open educational resources platforms for sharing academic content of courses and conferences related to political science (IAPSS Open Learning); online debate and interaction for all students engaged in discussing current issues of Political Science (the IAPSS online Working Groups) ; by enhancing political science students worldwide to cooperate and implement thematic activities on a wider international scale (IAPSS Theme of the Year).

Vision

IAPSS, as the globally leading association for political science students, aims to achieve cooperation through an international communication network. It generates and promotes opportunities for active engagement of political science students through activities on the local, regional and international levels.

To expand and diversify its existing network with the aim to enhance communication, cooperation and implementation of activities on wider international scale so to create conditions for active engagement of political science students.
