CALL FOR PAPERS

The Editorial Board of Politikon, the International Association for Political Science Students’ Academic Journal, invites graduate and undergraduate students to submit papers for review and possible publication in Vol. 14, No. 2.

Founded in 2001, the journal is published twice yearly and distributed in hard copy and online to more than 10,000 IAPSS members in more than 40 countries. Politikon is recognised globally for its position as one of the leading academic journals, publishing the best of undergraduate and postgraduate scholarship across the fields of political science and international relations. The peer-review and refereeing process involves university Professors, academics and experts at the forefront of their respective fields. Extracts from Politikon are often included in the International Political Science Association’s (IPSA) Annual International Political Science Abstracts.

Politikon is funded through contributions from both private and public institutions. These have included local and regional political science associations from throughout Europe and, recently, the European Commission. Politikon also  benefits from IAPSS’s partnerships with other established political science associations including IPSA, the International Studies Association (ISA) and the European Political Science Network (epsNet). These institutions have, on occasion, invited Politikon authors to attend and present their research at major conferences and seminars.

In a crowded academic publication market Politikon has carved out a niche, becoming one of the longest standing and most highly regarded student journals of political science and international relations in the world.
