Author Biography

Georgy Slavin-Rudakov, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona

Georgy Slavin-Rudakov is a PhD student at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, affiliated with the AFIN Centre. Specializing in media anthropology, he focuses on media sexualization and gender representation. He holds a Master’s degree from the National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow, where he also completed his Bachelor’s degree. His research encompasses sensitive data, sexting, cyberbullying, and data privacy, and includes award-winning work on mobile sexting among students. Fluent in English and Russian, Slavin-Rudakov has taught at HSE University and RUDN University in Moscow and has held key roles in the media industry.
